Hot news: the Curly Coated Piglets, that were born on 24 July, are due at the Farm on 24 September. Here's a few photographs for you in the meantime

Kune Kune

Small compact pigs from New Zealand and were Maori pigs. They come in all shapes, sizes and colours - including black, cream and ginger - and may be plain coloured or have various sized spots and patches of colour on a different background. Their hair is very long and wiry and they are extremely hardy. They make excellent pets and are very trainable. We are attempting to train the pigs and they are responding to their names......... maybe its got something to do with us rattling their feed buckets as we call them?? They can be reared for meat, which is more gamey than that from the larger pigs.

We have two Kunes - Molly and Milly, both of whom are spotted.
